traveled 3.5 hours to New Richmond Wisconsins Indoor Motocross Arena. The facility is amazing with an exciting environment. The track is a Supercross design, which intimidated kobe. The track was super safe for everyone and it is a good experience for kobe as well. It was Kobe's first time racing on his new 2013 Cobra CX 50. Our goal was to only to do his best and more importantly get used to the feel of a bigger bike. Overall kobe made slow progress throughout the day. Some Highlights I liked seeing was Kobe lined up with a full gate and was 3rd on the holeshot, then soon lost his earned positions. Kobes last race of the day he only lined up with one other and took his first holeshot EVER!) We had a blast and look forward to the rest of the races in order to get comfortable on the bike.

today, kobe rode his practice cobra cx 50 sr again. kobe looked pretty good, getting on the throttle more today, for only his second time on the bike. I recorded some footage on my phone but there isnt much light of day left when we get home and the picture/video quality suffered. kobe said he loved it and thanked me a couple times. the bike is tall for kobe. kobe can touch his toes on the ground or plant one foot and lean the bike to get it started. kobe lost some comfort from not being able to touch the ground like on his crf50f. I noticed his corner speed isnt where it will be when he gets comfortable. kobe had fun today roosting dirt everywhere. looking forward till kobes loses his nerves and gets comfortable.

Traveled to Ellsworth, Wisconsin and picked up a 2013 Cobra 50 SR. This will be Kobe's practice bike for the next two years as well as Kobe's race bike at the indoor track in New Richmond during the AMA DISTRICT 16 motocross off-season. By the way this bike is in pretty good condition. Depending on outside conditions tomorrow Kobe will take his first test ride. We also added a sweet toy hauler to our collection for a higher quality family racing experience.

Yesterday, I found out Kobe's 2016 Cobra CX50SR is only two more weeks away from shipping. I ordered the black plastic, which will look amazing when the decal kit is applied. I apologize to all my sponsors for not sending a picture of the race bike and my son just yet. My delay is ultimately due to the fact that I want Kobe to only see his bike when its completely done and only on Christmas morning. Another reason for the delay is I still have more items to order to get Kobe completely ready for the 2016 season. We are getting very close to being finished. Two more interesting facts is (1) I bought a 2001 KX65 for Kobe to practice on in order to prepare him for the 65cc class in two years. (2) I am traveling to pick up a toy hauler and another 2013 Cobra CX50SR on Thursday 11-19-15. Kobe's 2013 Cobra CX50SR will be used to race in New Richmond indoor arena during the winter months. I would like to save the 2016 Cobra for the District 16 racing season.

November 7, 2015 practice begins at indoor motocross track named CEDAR LAKE ARENA in New Richmond, WI. Cedar Lake is providing a 4 races season during the winter months. New Richmond is a 4 hour drive and we plan on attending at least one practice day or practice wekend and all the races to keep somewhat fresh on the speed and skills for the big district 16 season of 2016. many factors will play a role in which weekends we choose to travel as winter and road conditions can be unpredictable in a 4 hour drive, however we will contact Cedar Lake Arena before our travels in case of cancellations in order to plan to enter all the races.
