Personal History
My name is Kellen Brauer and I am 18 years old. I started riding when I was 7 years old when my Dad bought me a PW 80. I rode the wheels off of that and my first race was Day in the Dirt 2003 in the Mini's class where I finished 11th out of 24. I have also raced a YZ 80, KX 100, KTM 250f, and now my Honda CRF 450R. With these bikes, I have won a total of 13 moto's and 6 overall career wins in various local races. More recently, I started my own race team by the name of KoBra Motorsports that I hope I can take me and my teammate to great heights with and being from SoCal and the hot bed of Motocross, I want to be putting me and the team out onto the track every weekend and would proudly represent all of my sponsors not only at the races but in every aspect of my life.
Riding Goals
For the next year, I want to get my team KoBra Motorsports on the map in the industry and for me in particular, get out there and win some races and really launch my career to the next level. I am extremely determined to be able to race professionally one day and will not give up until I do. I hope 2012 is a big year for me and I have been training day in and day out to make sure I'm 100% ready everytime I line up at the gate.
Competitive Highlights
My first ever race at Day in the Dirt 2003 was really special to me because I was racing 65cc's on my little Yamaha PW 80 and still finished in the top half of the field. Every single one of my victories have been really special to me but my first overall win was awesome because I had won the first moto but started in the back for moto number 2 and worked my way through the field to pass the leader with a lap to go and crossed the line fist pumping and gave my dad a huge hug while literally in tears after the race was over. It was a truly special day and I live for moments like that and constantly strive to make things like that happen again.
