Great weekend of Road racing at Robeling Raceway in Savannah, Georgia with the Louisville Motorcycle Performance race team. Got to do some great promotIon for several sponsors while racing. Stopped in Ashville, North Carolina now . Post more after I get checked in to hotel.

Got back early Monday morning from Highland Park- KTM World in Cedartown Georgia. Great trails and 3 MX tracks. Rode mostly 2 and 3 diamond trails but did do one 4 diamond that was pretty difficult. Post pictures later.

Put on new tires, drain,flush radiators and add waterless coolant for the slow single track of woods/hill riding. Installed Boyesen Rad Valve ( re-jetted carb ) and Boyesen clutch cover for extra crankcase capacity. Filled with Bel-Ray Gear Saver.New MotoMaster Flame Front rotor &rear brakes Ready to leave tomorrow morning at 5:30 am for Highland Park Off Road Park in Cedartown Georgia for the weekend. Checking in online at the various social media sites to keep up with my sponsors and getting the 2018 schedules that are available.Monster Energy Supercross, Lucas Oil Pro Motocross and Kenda National Enduro only ones so far. Kentuckiana MX Championship Series, GNCC and IXCR still not posted.

The schedule for the 2018 Kentuckiana MX Championship Series hasn't been released yet. I do know that we( Saddleback) only got 1 race this year( July 1st). The other 5 tracks are Lincoln Trail, High Fly, Nickota,Hoosier Hilltoppers and Echo Valley. These 5 tracks will each have 3 races for a total of 16 races this year.

Have been following all my sponsors on social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest, and You Tube). Syncing all 6 accounts with my Facebook friends to get maximum exposure for the products I use and support. I am also following and friending other riders I have met and the owners of the tracks I ride. On Dec 1, I was given The Volunteer Of The Year Award from Saddleback East. Dec 5 I was voted in as a member of The Board Of Trustees - Facilities Manager at Saddleback.

Went over my KTM for lose or missing parts . Spokes needed attention.Replaced exhaust valve and hose that fell out. Straightened & re-thread handguard mount that took impact. Replaced handguard nuts with lock nuts.Of the new set of Pirelli's, rear is missing 16 knobs on left side and just 6 on the right. That indicates that I was working mostly left hand obstacles because that is my weak side.

After 4 days or riding with Grand National Cross Country and Indiana Cross Country Racers at SaddleBack East I have had a great work out. Riding on deer trails up and down hills very steep and crossing sideways off camber it forces you to 1. Stand up 2.Grip tank w/ knees and to steer w/ knees 3. Steer by weighting the pegs 4. Modulate power w/ the clutch 5. Develop great braking skill on steep descents

Heading back to Saddleback East to ride rocky trails and hill climbs with the IXCR riders. Working on gripping /steering with my knees. Keeping up with these racers forces me to look way ahead. Washing bike at end of day was next to brand new KTM whose owner commented on how great my bike looked.Thanks to all my sponsors

Rode with a GNCC rider at Saddleback East yesterday. Rocks, mud, fallen trees, cliffs, muddy off camber trails, and nasty steep hill climbs. 11:30 am - 4:pm . Today very sore !! What a workout. Heading back there now.

The only races left in KY are at Earlywine Racing in Maysville. The series races through Feb. It is an indoor supercross track. Different than outdoor but still good practice.

The Saddleback East Hill Climb 2017 went great even though hard rains Friday night left trails sloppy, full of ruts. Started at 10 am and finished at 2 pm. Only 3 riders made it to the top of hill #2, which turned out to be hardest.The trail we cut for access to highway for injured thankfully wasn't needed.. The only injuries were to bikes( fenders,side covers, seats,pipes,and handlebars ). I left the mounting bracket to my Hitcase at a track in Indiana and my REEL camera battery won't hold charge, so I was unable to film myself. New camera soon.

Saddle Back East Hill Climb.Rained really hard last night. Very Muddy. Made the first hill but didn't attempt the 2nd hill. It turned out to be the hardest. Several bikes lost seats, rear fenders, side covers , dented pipes with a lot of bent handlebars A 3 ft tall rock outcropping caused the loop-outs. Only 3 riders made it.

Just finished getting all the track directions & info for entire 2018 Kentuckiana MX Championship Series, plus the Lucas Oil Pro Mx at Ironman Raceway using MotoGuide . Installing new MotoMaster Flame front rotor for tomorrow's Hill Climb at Saddleback East

MARCH 20TH Helped put on the 1st race of the season for the KY MX Championship Series and the Crossroads XC Series at my riding club, SADDLEBACK EAST. I flagged one turn and the following jump.

Crosley MX series is now Hoosier MX . Schedule hasn't changed even though Podium 1 is closed and the last race cancelled. Facebook has same info as website. Is this series cancelled? I don't know.

Round 1 (Canaan,IN ) of the MAXC SERIES has been cancelled due to weather. We have got 7inches of rain as of this morning at 7AM.The Kentuckiana MX Championship Series Round 2 was supposed to be Sunday, April 6th. Their website is stiil not completed so I don't know if the race in Poole,KY at Echo Valley MX Track has been cancelled also. Unless I get definite confirmation I will not go ( 189 miles each way)

MARCH 23RD AT PODIUM 1 I LEARNED A LOT DESPITE MY BIKE'S CRANK BEARING GOING OUT.
1. EVEN THOUGH MY BIKE RAN GREAT THE DAY BEFORE IT CAN MALFUNCTION THE NEXT DAY
2. ALWAYS GO TO PRACTICE THE DAY PRIOR TO RACING TO CHECK BIKE AND TRACK OUT
3. PERFECTING JUMPING IS A MUST TO WIN
4. ALL THE RACERS ARE WILLING TO HELP OUT A FELLOW RACER
5. EVEN THOUGH MY YZ IS A 1998 MODEL ALL MY WORK RE-PAINTING THE FRAME AND SWINGARM, POLISHING UP THE MOTOR AND ALUMIUM PARTS, INSTALLING NEW PLASTICS, BEARINGS AND BUSHINGS PAID OFF. I RECEIVED COMPLIMENTS ON HOW GOOD MY BIKE LOOKED
6. DETERMINATION PAYS OFF- EVEN SMOKING AND LOADING UP AFTER A MINUTE I STILL ATTEMPTED TO RACE. I WAS RIGHT IN THE PACK AT THE FIRST TURN RACING MY 125 AGAINST 450'S
