Supercross at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, IN last night was great. Sitting 3 rows behind the starting gate , watching the various holeshot tactics, while being sprayed with dirt. . Excellent performance by everyone involved with the event. Hope Roxzen and everyone who went down is O.K.The highlight was meeting Roger DeCoster of KTM in the pits.

SNOWED ANOTHER 6 INCHES, OVER FOOT PEGS , RIDING CANCELLED. SO I SPENT THE WEEKEND TEARING DOWN MY YZ IN PREPARATION FOR MY 1ST RACE MARCH 16th. WITH ALL FLUIDS DRAINED, EVERYTHING LUBED, PIPE POLISHED, SILENCER POLISHED AND REPACKED, I'M READY TO INSTALL NEW PLASTICS, GRAPHICS,ROTORS , PADS, AND REPAINT MY FRAME.

Went to the Kentuckiana MX Championship series rider banquet last sunday. It was great meeting all the riders from ages 4 to 55, the owners of Nickota Motorsports Park, and Paul of Pauls' Cycles who is one of the sponsors.
Everything here is covered with snow and ice so I'm practicing brake sliding on my mountain bike and giving my legs a workout

Working on my jumping skills Controlling the bike on the launch and how to correct in mid-air. Getting the speed and trajectory correct to clear triples and land right so I don't case it while staying low so I can get back on the ground faster and back on the power.

Working on my cornering skills(flat,bermed,and rutted) to carry speed through them. Either by squaring off a flat turn,sliding through a bermed turn or powering through the rut.Practicing on my YZ125 2 stroke, so I'm perfecting my clutch technique while keeping the engine rpm's high and in the powerband along with body position ,braking, and loading the outside peg.
