Rider Updates

Me and some of my friends went to Blackwell, Oklahoma(which is located 15 minutes from Ponca City)to ride on a trail. It took us 40 minutes just to find it. We had to follow directions that weren't even on a map. Just instructions like, look for a tree that doesn't belong, and look for junk on the side of the road. When we finally found the place. We unloaded the bikes and went down to start riding. The place looked like an ocean. There was sand and a long, wide stream of water. We rode around in the sand for a little bit. Some of us were getting into 5th Gear and weren't sliding around at all. We decided to cross the water and see if anything was across it. The oldest of us crossed first. When he got about half way we descovered that the water was about 4 feet deep. His bike stopped and he walked it the other half of the way. Me and one of my friends went second. We thought that if we went in 1st gear,we would have enough rpm's to make it across. Boy were we wrong. We barely made it half way and we had to walk out bikes across the other side. The last person was kind of freaked out about trying to go across(he has only been riding since Christmas). He decided to go over it in 3rd Gear. So he gunned it and we all thought that he was going to make it. Just when he was about to make it. He ran into a hole in the water. He flipped over the bike and flew over the handlebars into the water. He was so scared of drowning that he rose up immediately and pushed the bike to the other side. We all wished we had a video camera with us. The wipeout was priceless. When we got all the bikes out of the water. We could only get one of the bikes started up again. So we loaded back up and took the bikes back to Ponca. We went back to Jimmy's house and started working on the bikes. We tilted the bike upside down and over 2 gallons of water came out of the exhaust. None of us knew how to fix it because none of us have ever rode threw water that deep before.
