Personal History
Since I was four years old, I have been riding dirt bikes. I “raced” for the first time at Madera Speedway on October 15, 2005. It was a CMA (California Motocross Association) race. I earned a 5th place plaque that day. Even now, I still proudly display that “trophy” in my bedroom. Ever since then, I have wanted to ride dirt bikes. My racing idol has always been Chad Reed. My racing number started as 22, just like him. After that first race, I wanted to ride and race more. My feet eventually touched the ground, and I got better and better.
Though I continued to race placing at several local tracks including Little Oakie, Oatfield, Mammoth, and even missing qualifying for Loretta's by 10 ft, when my parents became divorced when I was 7, my mom refused to let me race anymore. This was very hard for me and as I stayed off the bike, others my age just continued to ride and get better and better. I am now living with my dad and back on a bike! I know I have some catching up to do and push myself harder than ever to achieve my goal. I work really hard at taking care of myself and practicing and racing as much as I can. This is not easy when you are a teenager. I always try to eat healthy, whether I am at home, school, or anywhere else. My diet consists of healthy foods and a lot of protein. On a daily basis, I complete a workout circuit at home for about 1-2 hours. I also try to practice on my dirt bike during the week and on the weekends. Practice takes place locally during the week, and we travel to Turlock, Livermore, Porterville, Tulare, and LA as much as we can. It has always been important to me to work hard at my education as well. I know my education needs to be a priority. I continue to earn A’s and B’s in all of my academic areas.
Riding Goals
These days, I have to spend a lot more time and money in order to accomplish my goal of qualifying for Loretta Lynn’s Amateur Motocross Championship in Tennessee. I hope to participate in the 2015 event. In order to achieve this, I need to work really hard. I need the proper safety equipment, riding gear, dirt bike, parts and tools, and funds to supply the gas and entry fees for practice and race days. I would love to have your support in any way possible. This has always been and continues to be a big goal for me. Someday, I hope to race alongside my idol, Chad Reed. With your help, this dream might become more of a reality.
