Personal History

Currently I am eleven years old and I ride a KTM 65 and KX 85. I have been racing since I was four and in 2008 went to Loretta Lynn’s on my PW 50. The whole event was a lot of fun and an experience that I will never forget. I try to practice and race as often as possible, I have several different types of tracks in my back yard. In 2011, I raced the supercross and motocross events in the 65 and 85 class at the Mini-O's in Florida.  My Dad rides also rides to chase me around to push me to my full potential and help me train. He is my mentor, I hope that one day I can ride as good as he does. He helps me on the starting gate by giving me tips about the best line and how best to attack a situation. I always keep a positive outlook on riding and am a good sportsman. I am good at making friends at the track, when we have time between races. Even when I lose a race, I keep my head up and my Dad and I discuss what we can do to be better for the next race. Each race is a learning experience.

In addition to riding, I have been able to schedule lots of other extra-curricular activities. I love to jump and ride BMX bicycles. When playing at home, I love jumping on my Moto Stick, riding my Rip Stick, and BMX bike.

I do really well in school. Currently I am infifth grade.  Homework and school come first in our house, all homework has to be complete before the fun can begin.

Riding Goals

In the future, I hope to earn a spot to compete at Loretta Lynn’s again. I hope to be able to ride as much as possible and always do my personal best when racing. I hope to be able to meet lots of new people and make lasting friendships through my racing career.

In school, I hope to continue to make good grades and keep my good attendance record.

Competitive Highlights

My all time career highlight is definitely my week long trip to Loretta’s. Practicing and racing at Hurricane Mills are something I will never forget. My parents playing with me in the creek, the Yamaha rider dinner, watching and listening to all of the racing from our Mule, cooking out and eating snow cones, and meeting Chad Reed, who signed my rider bib.

Another career highlight is earning first at one of my local tracks. It is a great feeling riding back to the trailer knowing you were out front the whole race. I still pushed myself to ride as hard as I could. I also lead several laps at my first Arenacross race. Although I did not win, it was a good feeling. I was especially proud when my Mom told me about them announcing my name on the loud speaker.

Recently at a race, I placed second. All of those who were on the podium were interviewed over the loudspeaker and we had a champagne celebration (with big water bottles) at the end. It was a lot of fun for us to be able to spray each other and everyone around during our celebration.
