Personal History
Hello there,
I first got into riding from my dad when I was 5 years old, but I never raced until I was 13 years old. I have been in love with riding ever since! Another sport I enjoy doing is skiing. I used to ski race and race skier cross but now I just free ski with my family and friends. My mom got me into skiing when I was about 2 years old and is an avid skier her self, my sister also skis and ski races. My dad skis to but has a bad nee so can't ski very much. Motocross is something we can do together and both love. My dad is a heavy duty mechanic so is always teaching my things about my bike and how to keep it running in tip top shape. He also rides him self and has rode is whole life and raced a little when he was young and wants to get back into it. He has taught me about all he can teach me when it comes to riding and is even learning from me now!I also enjoy riding my mountain bike and hitting dirt jumps on it, but motocross is my true passion.
Riding Goals
My goals for the 2013 season are to train hard all winter and hopefully head down south to train and ride near the start of the season. One of my goals is to get sponsored. My goal for riding in Canada is to win the MX-2 junior B SOAB championship in Alberta . My goals in racing in the USA is to get a top 5 in the 250 C class. One of my main goals is to finish the season healthy and strong. My biggest goal in the long run for my amateur career is to qualify for Loretta Lynn's. My biggest goal is to get my pro licence.
Competitive Highlights
I have not had many highlights this season being that it was my first year on a big bike(250). I was happy to have got podium finishes but would of liked a first place. I know I was capable of a first I just wasn't ever able to put it all together. I am hoping that this season coming up I will have lots of positive highlights on my riding, and having support for the season will really help with my confidence in my riding, and buying parts and gear.
