Personal History

Back story: Started riding atv's and dirtbikes around the farm as a kid. Once I was finally able to get enough money together for a 250cc in high school, I started racing locally and doing alot of trail riding. I fell in love. Decided motocross and motorcycles were my passion. So I went down to MMI in Orlando FL to learn how to rebuild motorcycles and make them better. Went through school with 4.0, directors list, deans list, and SOC several times. I completed K-tech, and BMW training. After school, BMW selected me for their STEP program in NJ. Once I was done with all of that training, I moved back to IL to work at a dealership and keep riding. But shortly after, the dealership went under. I ended up working at a mom and pop shop for a while, but it wasn't making ends meet. So I had to leave the motorcycle industry.

Now: I still ride, race, and do my own work. I frequent off road parks in my area to practice and have fun. I highly enjoy technical riding, and hope to impove my skills every ride. I also follow a race series that has just joined the AMA this year.

Riding Goals

Why I ride? The real question should be "Why doesn't everyone ride?"

Riding is the best.

This year I plan to put alot of focus into my riding techniques. I hope to gain complete and total control over my entire bike.

I've finally got a truck, so the plan is to also not miss a single event in the race series I follow.

Given my trail experience, I'd like to get into racing hare scrambles, but I'm not sure where to find events.

Competitive Highlights

Most of my "highest" achievements on bikes would be technically "off the bike". I am an excellent mechanic.

As for on the bike, where I seem to shine is in the mud or difficult terrain. Terrain most "track only" riders never see.
