Personal History

"Schearer Speed" Is the name of our race team that currently has 2 active riders, Briana Saurman #224 and Zack Schearer #225. We are a very family orientated team with a 3 year old young rider in training, Anna rounds out our team at #223 and has future plans to compete once she reaches the required age. We work very hard and are very committed to this lifestyle of Motocross and eat, sleep, breath it. Countless nights and days are spent in the garage getting our bikes into the absolute best possible shape with such detail, it really is our passion and we are very devoted to grow and improve our skills to stay competitive.

Briana Saurman is new to the motocross scene with getting her first bike in February of 2014. She spends countless hours in the garage working and maintaining her machine and is always looking to make improvements and have the best possible gear and parts for her bike. She is a very dedicated rider, and never misses a weekend at the local tracks. She never gives up, and no matter how many beginners spills she had the first few times she always got right up with a smile. Her skill has improved drastically and is ready for her first race May 25th 2014 at Sleepy Hollow MX.

Zack Schearer was always a fan of Motocross and did a few races in 2013. He was focused on training and set a goal to race the Amsoil Arenacross in the winter of 2014. It was an amazing experience and a lot was learned and taken away from that event. He continued to push and train hard through the winter with the goal of racing the entire AMA district 6 series and race in the Loretta Lynn Qualifiers. That all came to a stop on March 8th 2014 at Englishtown Raceway during a practice session. He suffered a severe knee injury, which was 2 fractures, Torn ACL, Torn lateral and medial meniscus and a Torn MCL. It was a very painful and hard recovery but the love and support of his family and race team and the love for motocross made him even more determined to come back stronger and faster. During this time he focused heavily on coaching and training Briana. Zack will be returning to riding in September of 2014 and will be back at racing in 2015.

We are a very close family and friends and we all want to be the best and work hard to achieve that goal. our 5 rider team goal is currently on the road to becoming a reality, and should become a definite by the end of 2014 season.
