Personal History

I live in El Paso with my wife and two boys, enjoying the sun and the different culture. I recently got out of the navy after almost 9 years in May of 2014. I ride a crf450 and recently just bought a quad for the fun of it. I rode a 06 cr250 for years and now I started liking the 4-strokes because it's starting to get hard trying to hold onto a 2-stroke now. My favorite past time is just teaching my kids how to work, do the maintenance, and fix engines such as their own bikes. I'm a DOD Firefighter for the Army and we all like to get together and just burn some gas in the dunes. I'm also very passionate about all types of motorcycles and I enjoy learning the new technology that all these manufactures are coming out with. I also ride stree with my yamaha that Iv had for close to nine years now. Oil, grease, and gas is my life.

Riding Goals

My goals right now would be expanding my reach or zone, so to speak. To Arizona and New Mexico for new track and race series to get into with my son. Right now I'm still racing the crf but im also working on the quad and that's a huge goal for me right now. The weight difference on my yfz450 is totally different than the 2-wheeler, especially in the air.

Competitive Highlights

Every race is a highlight in my mind. From the tire marks on your boots from other competitors to the cheap hot dogs in the pits I love every bit of it and those are my competitive highlights. I ride to stay in shape for my job because on any given moment I'll be pulling 300 to 500 feet of hose and climbing several stories with heavy tools just to do my job so riding is a great past time and fitness activity for me and my very competitive son. Especially my first race, I'll never forget the adrenaline rush and jitters that racing gives you. That's the drive that keeps you young and on the edge.
