Personal History

Hi, my name is Zachary Lewandowski, I'm currently 19 years old, an only child and I'm going college to pursue an engineering degree, but I would love to make my daily job racing motocross. My parents have been a really big help both supporting my race habits and supporting me through college. When I first got introduced to motocross I fell in love. I knew after that I was going to race for the rest of my life. Motocross is makes me feel alive, the sport allows you to be both competitive and free. When your out on the track, it's just you and many other guys racing for a spot, that's what so fun about the sport. This is going to be my 5th year of racing. This year I will be racing in the amateur class. Moving up classes from C to B is going to really fun, I can't wait to get out there an experience faster pace racing.

Riding Goals

Since I’ve been riding I’ve wanted to become better each time, I want to learn how to hold riders behind me and how to correctly pass someone and how to properly to block pass when and when not to take inside or outside in corners. I did one of my goals and it was to finish in top 5 last year and I accomplished that. Another goal was to go take a riding class to get more experience and how to properly ride the track and the most important thing is being safe. This year I'm going to push myself to be top 10 in 250 Amateur and possible go race in the Unadilla pro-am race. One day I hope to ride for a factory team.

Competitive Highlights

For year 2019, I finished 4th and 5th in both my novice classes for the whole district.
