After months of being snowed in, racing finally began with the Toyota Arenacross in Denver. Zach rocketed off to a 3rd place finish in his heat, qualifying him straight through to the main. In the main he finished in 12th - it was a looong day, and the first day racing in quite some time!
The next weekend, it was off to the KJSC at Anaheim 3...what an amazing day! Meeting heros, getting autographs, being treated like a rock star, having 55,000 fans screaming for you during your race - all in a days work for the KJSC'ers! A 12th place finish felt like championship. Zach showed true poise and nerves of steeel!

Zachary raced the last half of the 2006 season. In that short time, he achieved the following final placements with SRAC:
Class 2 (7-8) - 15th
Class 5 (4-8) - 17th
Not bad for starting halfway through, and only racing about half of those races left after we started!
