Personal History
I started riding at the age 2.5 with my dad. Started racing motocross at age 7. Have been around bikes all my life. Went to school at MMI in Phoenix AZ. Couldn't find a job right out of school so I moved back home to SD. Tried getting jobs at local shops but no one was hiring. Started working construction as a laborer now I'm a mechanic in the shop. Not really what i went to school for but without the mechanic schooling probably wouldn't of gotten the diesel mechanic job. I still wrench on bike but out of my garage for friends and people not wanting to pay shop price. I stay busy working on bikes in the garage. I started racing with my dad he was the reason i got into motorcycles. Raced motocross until I was 14 shattered my ankle the first week of summer. Mom put an end to motocross the next year was my first year in Harescramble racing. I race harescrambles for 3 years. Moved to phoenix rode motocross track and crashed spent a week in hospital with broken ribs and punctured lung. Came back home to South Dakota bought my KTM race harescrambles for 3 years now got into Ice racing 2 seasons ago. The funnest I've had racing a dirt bike came while racing on the ice. Something about riding in the winter while everyone is couped up inside wishing for summer is fun. I am in my first full season of flat track racing. I just purchased the Yamaha 450 2 weeks ago and can not wait to test my riding ability on a fully set up flat tracker. 2020 I’m going to be racin AMA SuperMoto series in the amateur class. Will be travel all over country for the races. Also race Springfield Illinois memorial weekend and try a few more half mile races on flat track bike.
Riding Goals
