Riding Goals
2009 Riding Goal: To improve my consistency and overall speed through maintaining a weekly riding schedule of one (1) hour, per day, four days a week and racing at least one (1) event a week, and a physical training regiment of thirty (30) minutes, per day, four days a week.
2009Results Goal: To win all local races attended, finish on the podium in all district and regional races attended and finish consistently in the top five (5) positions in all national races attended.
2009Race Goal: To race at Loretta Lynn’s, Ponca, Branson and Florida Mini Olympics, and race in no less than Forty (40) other motocross events this year.
2009Sponsor Goal: Use my desire to improve my riding/racing skills to continue developing as a consistent and fast rider, which will attract the attention and interest of companies, seeking to sponsor a well-rounded person/rider to promote their products and company at local, regional and national events across the country.
Career Goal: To become a professional rider and, if that dream is not realized, pursue a productive career which will allow me the financial ability and time to continue to enjoy racing as a amateur.
Best Race: While training on November 8, 2003, I crashed and sustained a severe cut approximately 6-8 inches long in a "L" shape on my left thigh done to the bone causing me to spend 2 weeks in the hospital, 1 month in bed and another month of rehab. I returned to racing on February 29, 2004, and won the first three local (3) races I attended, but really shined at the Lorreta Lynn’s District Qualifier in Dyersburg, Tennessee. I won both motos of the Shaft Class with a 20 second margin over second and, although I didn’t win the 4-6 Stock Class, I was leading both motos by sizable margin until I fell in both during the last lap of each moto. Over and above that race, I guess is my 1st place finish in the third moto, and 6th place finish overall, at the Lorreta Lynn’s National in August of 2004.
