Personal History
Hi my name is Xaiver Cox I'm 12 years old and I love riding and racing my motorbike. I also love to water ski, ride push bikes and anything that keeps me active.
I started riding at 4 and started racing at 6, I started racing flat track on a Yamaha 50 and then moved up to a KTM 65. In my first year I came 3rd overall for the session with one win and in my second year I came 3rd overall also. I moved up to a Kawasaki 85 small wheel where I raced flat track again and came 3rd overall in the first season and that was when i also started racing Enduro. I raced 3 state rounds in South Australia and also some local rounds. It was very new to me and I found it challenging but that's when I realised I loved racing enduro and if I wanted to succeed I'd have to put in a lot of hard work and training. I started to do training boot champs and road in every race or practice day I could so I could become better.
In 2017 I completed my first full season in the State Enduro Championship with a goal of finishing in the top ten overall of which I achieved with some great rides and very tough races. I also started to race motocross where I finished 4th overall for the year at a local level. Over the current off season I have moved up to a Kawasaki 85cc Big Wheel and I've been training every day on and off the bike. I have started a riding daily to keep track of how I'm doing and I've also attend 3 riding boot camps with current professional riders and also looked at training in area's that are very different to where I normally ride so I can improve my skills.
2018 will be a huge season for me as I'm going to compete at a National Level for the whole year ( I have already done some national races but never the full series) as I've entered the AORC (Australian Off Road Championship) as well at the SA state enduro championship. I will also be competing in all of our local motocross races and enduro's and racing and riding as much as I can. I have been training very hard and will continue to do so until I reach my goals on winning races and championships but I'll be happy with my results as long as I try my hardest and ride to the best of my ability.
I'm am hoping to get any support I can from sponsors to help me to achieve my goals and help mum and dad pay the bills!! In return I will promote my sponsors through my facebook and instagram accounts of which I do regular posts and also race reports.
Thank you for taking the time to read my profile and I look forward to hearing from anyone who would like to help out.
Xavier
