Personal History
Hello! My name is William Karas Smith. I am 21 years old. I have been riding and racing since the age of 3. My racing number #572. I am #572 is because of my dad. That was his racing number. My dad is the one who inspired me to throw a leg over a bike and ever since I did I just fell in love with the sport and it has become my passion. I lost my dad back in 2011. After that, I took a couple years off the bike because of finances and it was hard to be at the tracks without him. Then, in 2014 I got back on the bike and started riding/training again. Went back into racing again in 2015. Now, here we are! Making a run at my pro career!
Riding Goals
I am racing towards my pro card this year. I plan on attending numerous pro-am events up and down the East Coast. Once I get that pro card, then it is time to hit up some nationals and supercross rounds! I also want to give back to my community where I’m from in Kilmarnock, Virginia. There are a lot of little kids coming up that are expressing interest in the sport. Nothing means more to me than giving back to the next generation of little rippers!
