Personal History

William "Peyton" Burke is 11 years old.  He rides a KX85.  He just finished his second year of racing.  In the 2014 season he will race 85cc classes and begin racing a few Super Mini classes.  He started riding when his Uncle brought a razor electric dirt bike that someone gave to him.  He started riding it a few days later.

Riding Goals

Peyton wants to increase his speed and get better in the turns.  He has been working with a trainer that has been focusing on technique and it is really helping.  He speed has picked up throughout the year.  We have particularly notices an improvement in confidence.  Peyton will be focusing on the 85cc classes this year and some Super Mini.

Competitive Highlights

Peyton came in 2nd for the 2012 Ultra Series for the 65cc 7-9 class and 4th for the 65cc 7-11 class.  He would have come in 3rd except he had a wreck on the first moto and didn't have a strong finish.  However, this race was a highlight for him.  Once he wrecked, he finished the race.  He didn't know at the time but he had a concussion and a bruised kidney.

The last District 13 race was 12/1/12 as well as the Grand Championship Series.  In District 13, Peyton placed 3rd overall in 65 cc 7-11, 4th overall in 65cc 7-9, and 4th overall in 85cc 9-11.  In the Grandchampionship Series, Peyton placed 4th in 65cc 7-11, 5th in 85cc 9-11, and 6th in 65cc 7-9.

Peyton found out in December 2012 that he also qualified for District 29, a neighboring district, end of year awards.  He placed 3rd overall in the 65cc 7-9 class and 2nd overall in the 65cc 7-11 class.

For the 2012-2103 year, Peyton finished 2nd overall in 85cc 9-13 and 3rd overall in 85cc 9-11.  He also finished 3rd overall for the 2013 Grand Championship Series in the 85cc 9-13 class and 2nd overall in the 85cc 9-11 class.
