Personal History

I am a 42 year old father of three who has never lost that "thrill of the throttle" since riding as a child.  When you spend all your free time reading through riding magazines, cleaning/repairing your bikes, playing motocross on the gaming console with kids, and think about the next place you'll be riding while at work..... you've got the bug.

I tried my first harescramble series in 2013 and have been hooked ever since.  Especially since rolling up to my first race and seeing over three hundred bikes and getting to know some great folks who truly enjoy the sport as much as I.

Riding Goals

Continue to improve my riding skills and gaining confidence in the seat.  Whether it's on the track or between the trees, I've learned over time you should never get complacent in the seat or else you'll be heading over the bars.  My most important riding goal, to finish every riding day standing on two legs and able to go to work the next day!

Competitive Highlights

Getting stuck on an enduro obstacle at my second hare scramble.  Who put that dang cable spool here anyway!  Mid July, hot as HE-hockey stick hockey stick, and my big butt frames a cable spool requiring every ounce of effort to physically lift the bike up and over to get going.  It's times like these you wish you'd spent more time in the gym and passed on seconds at the Chinese buffet.
