Personal History
Hi! My name is Whitfield Dean Rose. I am eight years old and I love my family and riding dirt bikes. My mom recently gave me a little sister, Charlotte, and I was born with two older brothers, Noah and Dallan. Most saturdays we are out at the track racing, ya know.. doing our thing... racing dirt bikes. I am honored to say I have all A's in second grade! I like to build dirt tracks for my toy bikes, make greeting cards, and binge watch training videos on YouTube. I had a rough beginning to the dirt bike life. After just turning five I broke my leg riding my pee wee, and was in a cast for six months. After healing, I trained a little bit and then I was off to the races in arenacross. For the first half of the series I was awesome... I came in last or second-to-last almost every race! I may not have won, but I put in every ounce of energy I had! Fast forward a year later, I was ran over by a 450 on training track and received a concussion. Luckily, I am tough and that didn' stop me from riding...my mom says thats because I don't remember, what does she know?! With a year into racing, I am successfuly catching serious air and going fast!
Riding Goals
I ride because it is in my blood. My pop pop rode bikes, my uncle, and now me! It is my destiny. I am not interested in traditional sports like football or baseball, I like to go fast and kick a... butt! I only have a year under my belt in racing, and I have steadily improved and gotten better even through obsticles. Racing dirt bikes have brought me and my pop pop closer. I ride for myself and for him. He never used to go out and watch me play baseball, but he hardly every misses a race. He is the best pop pop.
Next year, I want to overcome my fear of going fast into the corners and holding down the gas. I want to learn how to whip when I jump. I want to clear a double. I want to earn more plaques. I just want to keep getting better and continue to have fun!
I love racing dirt bikes. I love watching dirt bike racing. I love dirt bikes.
Competitive Highlights
They don't call me Whitster for nothing! I have around 50 plaques from this past year. In the recent outdoor series, I have earned overall 3rd or 4th on my Yamaha PW and overall 5th or 6th on my KTM Sr. Most recently at Mini Majors East, I earned 4th overall in the shaft class and 5th in the beginner open class. I am not the best rider out there, but you will not find someone more committed to the sport than me. I have fun every time I ride and get better with every race.
