Personal History
My name is Weston Rider Milas and I'm 7 years old. I have been into motorsports ever since I was old enough to hang on. My first machine was a Polaris four wheeler at the age of 3. The following year I recieved a Yamaha TTR 50 motorcycle at Christmas and this started my love for motorcycles. I am currently riding a 2011 KTM 50 sx and compete in the 7-8 year old 50cc classes.
I am an outgoing kid no matter where I am wether its at the racetrack, school, or any public place. I like to meet new friends and stay connected with my buddies. I'm never afraid to walk up to someone at the track and ask them how they did in there race. Its hard to see me at the track without a smile on my face.
Off the track, I'm active in alot of other physical activities. I love to ride my BMX bike and build jumps with my younger brother. We push each other pretty hard to get better all the time. I also like to go for bikerides on the bike trails and every year I compete in our local Make A Wish bikeathon. I also love to snowmobile and go sledding in the wintertime
I attend public school and I am in the 2nd grade. My favorite subjects are math and phy-ed. I compete in flag football and soccer after school activities. All my hobbies and sports keep me motivated toward my schoolwork because if I fail in school I am not allowed to race or compete in sports after school.
Riding Goals
The remainder of 2010 and the summer of 2011 will be an exciting time for me if our financial situation allows it.
I plan to finsh 2010 and start 2011 racing the Amsoil Sandbox Arena (WI). I will give it my best and if I finish the series in the top 4 in points I'll know I done well.
The summer of 2011 will bring new tracks and much travel as I plan to compete in many events while choosing one series to hold a points position. I plan to race AMA district 23 and select district 16 events. My goal in the district 23 series is to maintain a great points position, top 10 or better and put in some good finishes, top 3 or better. District 16 will mainly be focused on great finishes and gaining experience riding with different riders.
I also plan to race in our local non AMA races. The IRACE series is where I got my start and I plan to race there again next year. It will be smaller class sizes and I feel I have no problem finishing on top of the points at the seasons end. Motokazie Supercross is another series I plan to race as they make 2-3 stops in local towns near us. These are fun races and yet again new competetion. They are at local fairs and this is great because these are the races where my friends and relatives come to watch me race. I expect to finish top 3 in these selected supercross events.
I plan on racing a couple of AMA amatuer regional qualifiers in 2011. These events will be totally new to me, and I feel the experience will be worth it. To be honest, I don't know what to expect but I will try my hardest. It is a goal of mine to compete in the Loretta Lynn Nationals.
Overall, 2011 looks to be a great year. All the events stated will be raced in the 50cc classes. I plan buying a 65cc next spring and riding that also. I cannot say how much I will race the 65cc because right now my main focus is the 50cc classes.
Competitive Highlights
2010 was my first year of racing motocross. My highlights of the 2010 season were the fact that I started the season on a Yamaha TTR 50 four stroke and I was catching and passing racers that were on 50cc two strokes. The suspension factor was dangerous though and I got a KTM 50 sx and it was great from there on out.
Once on the 50cc two stroke machine I put in some good rides collecting many first place trophies and swapping first and second place finishes with my friend. The fact that I switched from a four stroke to a two stroke mid season hurt my point standings but with my good finishes I achieved 2nd in points in three classes.

I even had one race where I had bike problems so rode my brothers stock Yamaha Raptor 90 in the modified 90 quad class and against the modified machines I finished 2nd overall. It was fun just to try.
