Personal History
My name is Wayne Geppert, and I’m a 16-year-old high school junior, growing up in Pennsylvania. Sports have always been a big part of my life, thanks to the strong support from my family. My brother, who is three years older, and I have enjoyed participating in various sports together. I've played little league baseball and midget football, and I'm proud to be a captain on my high school wrestling team. In addition to that, I'm currently taking flying lessons to obtain my pilot's license.
With a family that has a deep love for racing, I was on a dirt bike with my dad before I could even sit up! My parents are incredibly dedicated to our passions, traveling with us to motocross tracks, where my brother and I both compete in multiple classes. We've been taught that hard work and dedication are crucial in everything we undertake, yet it's equally important to enjoy each experience and have fun.
Riding Goals
I’m really passionate about riding and love the thrill of motocross racing. Since I started competing in 2021, I’ve poured my heart into improving my skills each season. I kicked things off in District 6 races, tackling the Junior Mini and 85/150 classes. By 2023, I was ready for some new challenges so I broadened my horizons by racing in various districts and moved up to the Super Mini class. In 2024, I advanced to the 125 C and Schoolboy 1 classes and tested my skills at larger ProAm events. Looking ahead to 2025, I can’t wait to dive into national races like Loretta Lynn's and Thor Mini O's! Ultimately my goal is to become a professional motocross rider.
Competitive Highlights
In 2023, I had an exciting season, competing across multiple districts. I secured the 2nd highest points in the 85/150 class and placed 4th in Super Mini. Looking ahead to 2024, I qualified for Loretta Lynn's in Super Mini at the Southeast area qualifier and enjoyed a strong season at the regional level.
