Personal History
My name is Vincent Peltonen and I live in Sullivan, MO approximately 60 minutes from St. Louis. I have a wonderful family that support every waking second of racing , they all know that it is my dream and desire to make a living and I believe I can do it.
This year I came into the season ready as ever and broke my back June 9th at Lake Sugar Tree Mx in Axton , Virginia. I recently just got back on the bike but have already regained my speed from being off the bike for 3 1/2 months and have actually gotten faster. If Im willing to break my back for this sport, I better make something out of myself doing it. I also believe if I can go through a broken back then I can go through anything in this sport and should still come out on top.
Growing up I never really had a bike until the age of 14 , by then I was getting ready to go into high school and needed to concentrate on my grades and keeping my reputation up as being a good, well mannered kid. At the age of 15, I started out riding a 2003 yz 250f and was getting faster , I was consistently in the front of the pack, my desire and passion grew from there for the love of this amazing sport. I later got a sponsorship through my local shop and was riding a 2006 Yz 450, as I jumped to this completely different style bike, I was getting faster then ever. In a matter of one year I went from 250C to 250B and running up front.
My family and I have put every penny and every drop of sweat into racing and dont plan on quitting. We are at the track every weekend rather were just practicing for a upcoming race or racing. I know that if I can get some better support to help us, I can be the next 250A rider around here thats fast, and I can prove to all the non-believers that I'm the real deal. I'm a very hard working racer and work for everything I have accomplished. Like they say " A little Elbow grease and desire anything is possible" with me anything is possible. I'm always putting in motos at the practice tracks a friend and I own. With the desire and passion I have for this you can usually find me up front and running strong in the tough 250B Mod and Stock classes
