Personal History
I am 16 years old and currently in the 11th grade. I live at home with my mom, dad, sister and three dogs. Although school is my biggest priority and I take great pride in my school work, I am extremely passionate about my riding! I have only been riding motocross for just over a year. I was just recently nominated for the National Honor Society as a result of my determination and hard work in school. When I hit the track on my bike that same passion, determination and hard work comes out and I put my all into my riding. I started riding during the pandemic, and immediately realized how passionate I am about this sport! My dad is my biggest supporter and is always there for me when it comes to riding. He does all the maintenance on my bike and teaches me along the way how to do said maintenance so that I will have the skills to do it in the future for myself.
Riding Goals
Some of my personal goals for this year is to work hard and improve my riding ability to be able to get a trophy by placing in the top three. My ultimate goal would be to place first. The women’s class at my local track is very competitive and has a wide range of different riders and rider ability. Said class has women of all ages from 12 to 60+, and bikes of all sizes from 85cc and up. This wide range makes it very challenging to compete against some of the more experienced riders. That being said, I accept said challenge and will never give up and give it my all every time I go to the track! I practice whenever I can both at my home track and open tracks at many different tracks, but currently only race at one track. I hope to expand the number of tracks that I race at as I improve my skills and abilities!
Competitive Highlights
Some of my personal highlights this past year was placing 9th out of 25 riders at my last race. This was a huge improvement for me as previous finishes were anywhere between 15-18th place! I plan to achieve even more this year!
