Personal History
My name is Tyler Wendlandt. I'm 20 years old. I love working on dirt bikes and racing my KTM 300xcw! I will be entering as many races as I can this year.
I live in Alberta and love riding the technical mountains. I've been training with the Dynamite Boxing crew to improve my cardio and endurance muscle. I train 4 days a week at the gym running 11km there and back, as well I spend around 2 or more days out dirt biking.
I have been riding dirt bikes since I was 14 years old with my brother. My whole family is involved in the sport and are always out supporting me at ever race. This year I have participated in many races around Alberta and have also travelled to Idaho, Vernon and Blairmore to try out the bigger races. I have encountered some bike problems during my races this year which has made it difficult to finish in a descant standing. Everything happens for a reason and I find that these problem I have overcome during my racing season has improved my skill set dramatically
Dirt biking is my life! I don't have a clue what I would do without it.
Riding Goals
My one goal this year is to build my skills and get as much experience as possible.
In the next few years I would love to race BAJA, Red Bull Romaniacs, Erzberg, HELL'S GATE and The Tough On.
Competitive Highlights
Participating in the bigger races in Idaho, Vernon and Blairmore has been an awesome start to my year of riding. But the year isn't over and there is still lots of racing left.
