Personal History

I began riding motorcycles at the age of ten after starting my own lawn mowing business in my neighborhood. My parents were very supportive and agreed to match my portion to buy my first motorcycle. I am not afraid of hard work and take pride in my work ethic. It wasn't until I turned fourteen that I truly realized my passion for racing motorcycles. I raced my first motorcross race in Moab, UT on March 7th 2009. Over the last couple of years I have dedicated my life to training and staying healthy in order to pursue my dream. In an average week I ride four days (weather permitting), strength train, run, and mountain bike in order to maintain top physical condition. In March 2011 I began racing in the 250 class. I finished the 2011 USRA season as the 250 Big Bike Beginner Overall Champion.

My parents are financially responsible for most of my racing expenses and they both work full-time to support my dreams. I have an awesome father and a wonderful mother who support me the best they can. I know that I have the desire, dedication, and ability to be successful in this sport because I have the internal drive to excel.

In addition to my own passion for the sport I continue to give back to my community through church and volunteering. I would like to mentor younger riders and set a good example by living a morally acceptable life. I am applying for sponsorship because I am finally to a point in my racing that I feel I can represent corporations and individuals in a positive way. Not only am I growing in my sport but I am also maintaining a 3.5 GPA and understand that being sponsored is a privelege. I will represent my sponsors not only on the track but also in my daily life. I appreciate all of the help I have received thus far.

Riding Goals

During the 2012 race season I will be moving up a class and racing in the 250 C and Open C classes. It will be a great challenge this year. A challenge that I am ready and excited for. My goal is to learn and improve each race. In 2011 I attended a four-day Donnie Hansen MX camp in Colorado Springs, CO, and a two day Donnie Hansen MX camp in Grand Junction, CO. In 2012 I look forward to continue training with Donnie Hansen.
