Personal History
My name is Tyler Rayner, I'm 18 years old and I race motocross in Ontario and also in the United States. I just recently raced the Amateur Canadian National in Walton Ontario and got 3rd overall in the 450 B class. I had high expectations to win but I had a few minor set backs throughout the week long event. I recently moved up to A class and raced in New York and Pennsylvania a few times and have done very well! I actually won an overall at Miles Mountain a few weeks back, over a few racers who are very fast and have qualified for AMA Nationals this year! Some of the riders are Matt Babbit, Thomas Addy and Josh Emmi. That was a real confidence booster for me for sure!
Riding Goals
Some of my goals I have for 2011 are to compete in the Eastern Canadian Pro Nationals such as Gopher Dunes, Moncton, Sandalee and Walton. I would definately like to be top 5 and possibly in the mix for some overalls. Also, I would like to give a few AMA Nationals a shot just to see where I'm at compared to the best riders in the world. A few tracks I would like to try are Steel City, Red Bud and Unadilla. Those tracks are the closest to me but they are also unreal tracks! Although I love the sport, it can be quite expensive at times so I'm just looking for some support to help me out while I try to become a well-known racer in Canada and the United States and I hope eventually in time, I could get a ride on a full-support Factory Team.
