Personal History
I'm 13 years old and live in Magnolia, TX and was born in Nashville, TN. I'm in 8th grade and enjoy riding/racing motocross, playing video games and riding my mountain bike. My goal every time I race is to just go out and do my best and have fun and come home uninjured.
I've had a couple of injuries in 2014, one from playing football, and the other from riding motocross. This affected my riding and racing for 2014 so didn't get to race much at all.
I was recently awarded the Students Achieving Excellence Award (SAE) at my school. This award was given to approximately 6 students out of 150 total. The criteria for students receiving the SAE Award were; kind and well mannered, respectful, great citizenship, good sportsmanship, and a positive attitude.
Riding Goals
I finally got my first 1st place finish in my last race in the beginner class. Now moving up to my age group 85cc 9-11. I hope to consistently finish in the top 10 for 2013 in my age group and hoping for top 5 but my main goal is to have fun, be safe, and always go out and do the best I can on any given day.
Just moved up to a 125 and will be racing my new 2015 KTM 125SX for the 2015 race season. I am coming off an injury so haven't raced in several months.
Competitive Highlights
I just got my first overall win in the 9-11 85cc beginner class and it was in my last race in the beginner class so I was very excited. Also was 2nd on both moto starts and was lined up with the older beginner class and also the 12-15 age group. Almost had the hole shot on the first moto but mis-shifted and couldn't hold on to first.
Qualifying for the Texas State District Final race at 3 Palms Motocross Park. The top 16 riders from each district got to race the final and I made the top 16. I got to race against some of the top kids in Texas and the country, great learning experience.
My latest highlight was getting a 3rd place finish in the EVO Final race at my home track. I had to race hard to get the 3rd place finish and needed 3rd my second moto to get it and I had a great second moto.
