Personal History

I was introduced to dirt bikes on our farm at a young age where I swiftly discovered my passion for riding. Moments later I rode my pw50 straight into the side of my grandpas truck. Despite that I was pumped and instantly wanted to keep learning. Fast forward to high school/college where my lack of time and money pushed me into team sports like hockey, football and rugby. I played college level rugby for 2 years managing to win a gold and silver provincial medal. My last rugby game I blew out my knee and hung up the cleats for good. As part of rehabilitation, the spin bike began to be a large portion of my exercise which transitioned into enduro mountain biking/ downhill mountain biking and even a few 8 hour races. My love for dirt biking sparked again at the end of college when my job allowed me more time and financial freedom to pursue my passion of riding. I started racing in 2021 in the Off Road Ontario Circuit where I managed to race middle of the pack for my class and continued to get faster. My previous season was cut short when I broke my hand during the best hole shot I’ve had yet. Since than I’ve been pushing hard to comeback and climb the ranks towards racing in the expert class. My favourite part of racing has truly been the relationships created and memories made. Meeting and talking to fellow riders at events has lead towards many friendships and connections in the enduro scene.

Riding Goals

My overall goal is to continue progressing my skills in both hard enduro and cross country discipline. I’m currently in the gym rehabilitating my body from the previous season so I can come back faster and stronger. Endurance training is a large part for me. I have a strong passion for pushing beyond my limits which is why I want to transition into more events based around hard enduro. This would include travel to the USA to participate in GNCC and AMA hard enduro. Short term goals for this season include having consistent top 5 results for XC races and pushing harder in the enduro races for a podium. Racing isn’t my only goal however. I truly enjoy meeting riders and like minded individuals during events or on the trails so I’d like to expand my network of friends in the dirt bike scene and continue to spread the thrill of riding!

Competitive Highlights

After a long and difficult 2023 Offroad Ontario season with a full bike rebuild 3/4 of the way through I'm proud to say I've finished 3rd overall in the grand championship points for Intermediate B. I will be progressing to Intermediate A in 2024 with the goal of making expert in 2025
