Personal History
My name is Tyler and I am 15 years old. I am a small town boy from Squamish that this month will be moving to West Kelowna to further my motocross career. This was my first year in a motocross series and I finished 1st place over all in my category. I persevered through many challenges this season by having to ride 5 different bikes. I ended up blowing up my bottom and my top end of my main race bike (kx100), so I spent the next month finding local sponsors and begging my parents for a new YZ125. I accomplished this and have since been riding my new Yahmaha, that I love! I am already looking at 250's, so I can ride Junior Categories. My step-mom told me to come into this sport by making a name for myself, and have all other riders wonder where this "Liebrecht Kid" came from. I plan to race my first year of Arena-Cross in November, which I have never done, and honestly have no idea how well I am will do, but will put in the hard work, grit, and dedication in order to be the best I can be. My parents motto is "if your not first, your last kid". Thank you!
Riding Goals
My parents are making the move to West Kelowna, so that I can pursue my passion in Motocross. As of right now I am the only kid in a 150 km radius that is part of a motocross series. My goals for this 2020 series is to get a YZF250, so I can race in the 250 Junior and 250 Open Class.
