Personal History
Personal History-
As a child I started riding at 5 years old on an old beat up lawnmower powered motorcycle with no suspension. Soon after, my parents knew I would probably kill myself on this machine and upgraded me to a KTM 50cc LC. On which I did mostly trail riding and did compete in 1 arena-cross event. I outgrew this bike fast and went onto an XR70r, later on a TTR-125, and finally a DR250. Now I know this isn’t the most impressive, nor best showcase of motorcycle history. Family separation, tragedy, and financial hardship cut my early moto career short. After a 13 year hiatus, I found myself back on two wheels again. I was gifted a 2003 YZ450 which was all it took to get the itch back. I quickly moved on from this motorcycle onto a 2012 KX450f with a full pro-circuit built motor that my best friend used to race the pro-am races for the outdoor national series. Once I learned that desert racing was where my passion was, I moved on to an absolutely cherry 2012 CRF450x. The bike had 19 hours on it when I bought it and was completely stock. I have over the past 5 months, built it into an absolute desert powerhouse. Anyway, back on dirt for the last 8 months after a long break, I have found myself in the racing world again longing for speed and victory. I hope to entice sponsors with my desire to win and represent brands with the upmost dignity and pride. After only 8 months of riding, and 4 of racing, I have found myself placing mid pack in my class (around 100 riders per race in my class alone) and only getting faster and closer to victory with each ride.
Riding Goals
Riding goals are simple. Become the absolute best in my series, win races, and have a blast doing it. Racing is and has always been in my blood, even though I was separated from it for so long. Desert racing has brought me closer to myself and things that I love more than anything ever has or will. I hope to continue my progress, and with a little help from sponsorships, lead myself and my team to the podium time and time again.
