Personal History

I graduated from LeMars Community High School in LeMars, Iowa, in May, 2009. I am currently a Freshman at Western Iowa Tech Community College in Sioux City, Iowa where I will obtain a degree in Advance Welding and Automotive Technology. I also work part-time as a grill cook at Mr. P’s Sports Bar & Grill in LeMars. During the summer months, I averaged approximately 15 to 25 hours per week, and I currently average 20 to 35 hours per week.

I enjoy motocross, skateboarding, snowmobiling, and snowboarding.

Riding Goals

Work on overall speed and improve what I have already accomplished.

Win the Open C Class and move up to the Open B Class in 2011.

Someday racing at the Ponca City Amateur Nationals and the Millville Amateur races.

Competitive Highlights

I started riding in April, 2006, practicing at least 3 to 4 days per week during the summer. In June, 2006, I started racing, and unless rained out, I competed in every race during the remainder of the 2006 season. In August, 2006, after winning multiple races in the Beginner Class, I began riding in the 125C class. At the end of the season, I was ranked 14th in the 125C Class out of 76 riders. In 2007, I competed in every scheduled race (unless rained out). At the end of the season, I was ranked 6th out of 43 riders in the Open C Class. The 2008 racing season ended in October, and I took 1st place in the point standings in the Open C Class. The 2009 season started in April, and I was not able to participate in every race due to my senior year in high school, but still ended up within the top ten of the Open C Class.
