Personal History

My name is Tyler Banning and I am 13 years old.  I live in Ashland, Missouri, with my parents and sister.  When I am not riding my dirt bike then I am riding and doing trick on my scooter.  My other hobbies include hanging out with my cousins, playing video games and building toy dirt bike tracks.

Riding Goals

I was given a Razor electric dirt bike when I was 5 years old and have enjoyed riding bikes ever since.  I became interested in racing when my cousins started racing a few years ago.  My dad bought me my first real bike, a trail bike, when he returned home from deployment two years ago.  He then bought a bike and we would ride together.  I now ride a Kawasaki 85.  My mom and sister have kawi bikes as well.  On the weekends we like to ride together as a family when I am not racing.  In the spring and summer of 2016, I raced for the first time in the HLR Night Series.  My plans for next year include racing again in the HLR Night Series as well as the State Series.  This winter I plan to race in the Arctic Cat Nitro Arenacross Series.  I love riding dirt bikes because it is fun and exciting.  i enjoy the challenge, jumping (even though it can be scary at times) and meeting new people.  Oh, and I really like the trophies when I win.

Competitive Highlights

Last racing season I raced in the HLR Night Series.  It was the first time I raced and I like how I grew as a rider.  I raced in the 85 Beginner class.  I also raced in the Super Mini class for the extra practice.  Due to there only being a handful of riders at times in the mini class I was able to win 2nd and 3rd place trophies.  I took home seven 2nd place trophies and eleven 3rd place trophies in the beginner and mini class.  I finished the season with an overall 3rd place win in the beginner class and an overall 2nd place win in the mini class.
