Personal History
I first got into dirt bikes when I was just 5 years old. The more I rode the more I fell in love with it. When I was nine years old I moved to Hill City, Kansas. That’s when I started taking motocross a little more seriously. A couple years passed and I bought my first “race bike.” It was a kx65. I rode at tracks outside of town and I made a little one at my shop. A couple months went by with the bike and I decided to sell it and get something bigger. Like a cr85r. It was a fun bike and I got better at handling bigger bikes. In only a year I out grew it and sold it also. I bought a 05 kx125 for 300 dollars and thought that it would need a lot of work. Turns out all I had to do was change the oil, gas, and antifreeze. It started third kick. A month or two later I rebuilt the bike and restyled it. I took it to a FCA motocross camp and to my surprise I didn’t do too bad, I had the third fastest lap time in my group and I had only been on a “real track” once or twice before that. With getting that information I decided it was time to go race for the first time. I ended going to Great Bend and racing there. I ended getting third or fourth overall and was quite happy with my performance in my motos. But here I am now, I bought a 2021 ktm sx125 and am currently waiting for the Kansas and Nebraska circuits to start back up. In the mean time I’ve found some buddies that have a private track right outside of town and we will go out there and practice weekly.
