Personal History
Hi, My name is Tyler Miller, I was born and raised in the small town of prospect Oregon just south of Crater Lake. I've spent my life hunting fishing and riding dirt bikes in the hills around my town. I was raised in a family of loggers, my dad is a logger, my grandpa is a logger and so was my great grandpa. Most of my life has been spent in the woods having fun. I started riding at the age of 4 and haven't stopped since. I have always been a straight-A student and am pursuing a career in welding, My senior year I will be going to high school for a few hours then going to a local college and taking classes to become AWS certified by the end of my senior year.
Riding Goals
My riding goals for this year is to at least podium in the Mag-7 Offroad Racing GP series in my age class. I want to have a successful season with no injuries and preferably no serious bike problems. I am mainly worried about the bike problems because funding is VERY limited for me. My family is not rich and I don't have a lot of job opportunities. I am still going to race my hardest because its what I love to do. I feel free when I'm on the bike and I hate being passed, I want to be the best, I want my name to be known. Next year will depend on this year's outcome but I will be 18 next year and I'll have the ability to sign my own waivers so I can go to more races, due to my parents not having a lot of free time since they're at work. I want to move up into the expert classes and make my name known, even more, I want to improve my riding, more consistency, fewer mistakes.
Competitive Highlights
My competitive highlights are not too impressive but they are still better than nothing. at the age of 4 I placed 4th in a flattrack race in salem oregon. the next major thing was a 5th place finish in my first ever XC event, The OMRA XC series, timber mountain XC, 250 amatuer class.
