Personal History
Please don't be surprised if you don't get any reactions to your posts. It is obviously that's because you don't work with Tweetboost. Visit the website here to see how your collaboration with Tweetboost can help your Twitter boost.
So what should you do on Twitter as an entrepreneur? Well, interact in the form of discussions, join in more in discussions with others. Find relevant target persons, who could be multipliers for you (more on this below) and comment.
And design your posts in such a way that they encourage discussion or commenting. For example, don't just throw out your new blog post without commenting and stop using the same images as everywhere else. Twitter is neither Instagram nor Pinterest: you don't really need pictures. Instead, short, to the point statements - don't forget: for a long time, Twitter only allowed 140 characters per tweet. That doesn't allow for rambling.
You could therefore take an aspect from your blog post, formulate it in such a way that it stimulates discussion (no, that's not difficult) and "exploit" your blog post in this way. And if you get reactions to your tweet, then interact! Answer! And do it quickly . See on twitter how it can help your business.
Twitter is up to date and very fast
And now we are at the "tedious" part of Twitter for businesses: Twitter is very fast! And that is exactly why it has very high topicality.
However, this is also exactly the point that makes Twitter interesting for businesses.
You can't respond hours or even days later, as is quite common with other social media channels, but immediately! And by immediately, I mean at least within an hour. So think carefully about whether you really want to and can use Twitter as a sole proprietor with little to no human resources.
You really have to stay tuned and so-called shitstorms are not excluded. The tone on Twitter is sometimes a bit, shall we say, rougher. You can't be too squeamish if you want to be active on Twitter. But the discussion is often more in-depth than on Facebook, for example. But be aware, especially if you were mainly active on Facebook before: you won't get constant applause! The audience is more critical and criticism is expressed more quickly than praise.
This is often not meant as badly as it may sound sometimes. Yes, of course it also has to do with these short sentences. Originally, as already mentioned above, you only had 140 characters available. Now it's a bit more, but you can't write a novel.
So please remember: simply tweeting something briefly and then immediately disappearing from the platform again doesn't work on Twitter.
By the way: it also doesn't make sense, and I see this quite often, to just re-tweet the same meaningless tweet every few hours. That used to be the preferred tactic on Twitter - forget it, please!
Why? Well, should someone become aware of you, then he will look at your profile, which, by the way, can also only be displayed as a short profile (I do not mean our Chancellor, but the brevity of the profile entry - sorry, I could not resist this "Schmäh" now
