Personal History
Trystan is an energy little 6 year old by who has loved dirt bikes, bikes, and anything with wheels and motors since I can remember. He loved getting on his dad’s bikes in the garage and would always be so mad when we had to get him off. Trystan would get up in the morning before any one, still in diapers get on his boots and go outside and ride on his strider bike. He was riding on a stacyc bike since he was 2 years old. When he was 3 he was able to race his first race with the RMX series in Ogden Utah. He was on a PW 50 racing when he was 4 years old. He is now racing in the advance 50 cc class with 5-8 years old. Any time he can get on a bike he will. Motorcorss racing runs in the family. His dad and I have been going to dirt bike races for the last 20 years of our marriage. We both race and his sister who is 8 loves to race also. It is our way of life. We love our Moto family and friends. Summers are filled with races almost every weekend. His mother is working 2 nursing jobs to help keep this love of dirts bikes alive. Dad is able to stay home with the kids and help them with the love of the sport and teaching them how to race, take care of the bikes and life lessons. His other favorite things he loves to do is football, hockey, and wrestling. But if you ask him out of all 4 what is his would be his first love is dirt bike racing.
Riding Goals
Trystan was exposed to dirt bikes since he was born. He has been around then for his whole life, he as watched his dad race many times. We were not going to have him start racing until he got older more like 5 or 6 but when we were at the races he would cry when he couldn’t go out there with the other kids. So that is when we decided to try the Stacyc bikes out for racing at 3 yrs old. He was hooked. He has told me
that he is wanting to get better in the ruts and turns so he can keep up with the older kids and race on all the big tracks one day. In the next year he hopes to win or be top 5 in the 50cc classes he races and get used to and race the new KTM 65 next year.
Competitive Highlights
In such a short time he has taken 1-3 in many races. Last year was his first year racing on a bigger bike (50cc GasGas) he took the championship home and won the series we have here in Idaho Falls. We race a series out here RMX series that Chance Hymas raced which is one of the hardest out here and was able to be in the 10 ten at the age of 6 with kids who are 7-8 years. We have much to work on but he is eager to learn.
