Personal History
My dad grew up riding an mr50 two stroke and it ended up getting stolen from him at the age of 10 and his parents never bought him a new one. Most racers today have had their relatives race before them and get them into dirt bikes at an early age, well not me. I started wanting a dirtbike at around age 11 which seems young but isnt really. I got my first bike a crf110 when I was 13 almost 14. I live in the New York City and only rode on my street/ neighborhood. Then, High school came and I made some friends who rode and raced dirt bikes and was convinced to buy my own 2011 kx85 in September of 2014 and practiced for about 3 months on it and picked up as much skill as I could riding every weekend I could. I fell in love so quickly and even tried to convince my parents to homeschool me because I lost alot of time when other kids my age have been riding since they were 6 and have many years of experience on me. But I am very athletic and good at almost everything I do, so my parents knew I would get used to it and eventually good at it. December of 2014 I bought an 03 rm125 and didnt get to ride it to much because of NY's long winter, but now I have already raced once at Walden MX and got 6th overall my first race.I am signed up with District 34 so I am hoping that I can win a race by the end of the season and want some financial support by companies that are willing to sponsor me. I am Tristan Martinez #211 and I race 125/250 C class. Thanks for taking your time reading about me.
