Personal History
Hi - My Name Is Trevor Steffen from Novato Ca. I started riding when i was 8 out in West Marin Ca. at our dirtbike club that is on a 2000 acre working cattle ranch. That was a great place to learn - lots of great single track trails and super fun people. This year at 13 is my last year on 85's- so just gonna try to ride well, practice hard and always think about how lucky i am to do all this racing. We practice about 3x a week and I just love to ride and push myself yo get better. I always have to shout out for my parents - Thank you Mom & Dad!!!
Riding Goals
Headed to World Mini's - not bad supermini 13th - open/mode 17th - 19th.Qualified for L.L.N.W Regional @ Washougal - Will try to qualify for SW L.L Qaulifier @ The Ranch. I plan to finish this year racing at Mammoth Motocross at the end of June - Qualified 3 classes - then basically praticing a lot and doing some night summer series events until August when the CMC Trans Cal Series starts up and I'll run that series going for 1st in both Open & Novice. I'll definately be going to Dodge National. Maybe bringing out the 125 for 1st in beginner. Then I'll do it all over again next year as a strong 14 year riding my yz 125 - ready to ride schoolboy 1 & supermini.
Competitive Highlights
Just my Dad letting me race this year has been awesome. I love the challege of all the new tracks from down south up to Washougal - Yeah! I have made so many great friends out at the tracks. My highlight has to be my top 10 finish in moto 1 @ Hangtown - then all the pros rolling in that night signing autographs and doing a practice.
