Personal History
My name is Trevor Sandum and I live near Calgary, Alberta, Canada where I train and ride for motocross. My home town track is Drumheller where I am a member. I have been riding dirtbikes since I was 7 years old, but started racing competitively when I was 12 years old in 2007. I have been involved in many sports including but not limited to hockey, volleyball, badminton, slow-pitch, and skiing, but motocross has been my favourite. I love to race and compete against others. I ride a 2010 Kawasaki KXF 250, competing primarily in the Southern Alberta Series http://www.cmrcracing.com/calendar/cat_ids~80/. I ride at my track in my backyard that my Dad and I built to train on, and I enjoy working on it and building/grooming it. I race the odd areanacross in the winter offseason in both Canada and the US, as well as some trail riding and free riding. I competed in the Cancer fundraiser event in Alix which is a 3-hour harescramble race to raise money for cancer. A bad day of moto beats a good day of anything else.
Riding Goals
I wish to compete in all of the races in the Alberta CMRC series and consistently finish in the top 5 Junior B Class. I want to be constantly improving and move into a competitive position competing in the Junior A Class.
Competitive Highlights
My first ever win in Brooks, AB in the Beginner class is one of my favourite memories of motocross.
