Personal History
My first year on the G@S race team and I had a problem right away, I grew so much during the winter my dad switched me to a 125 for my safety. I started the year off strong being in the top running but started slipping behind. I decided to take some time off and rode more at home and became more comfortable with my new bike. When I began racing again, my starts were horrible, practically last and working my way up to the top five by finish. Overall, I finished second in the Indiana 125cc division and third in the schoolboy 1 division. Each race I became better and more confident with my new bike.
My coach, Adam Lock, has made pro and I will be following him to the Pro Ams in the 2014 season. Next year the competition will be hard, fast, and fierce since I will be racing against mostly older riders in my divisions. I will be attending big national races as well as some local favorites. Such as the Mid-East and North Central area qualifiers for 2014 National Championship at Loretta Lynn's Ranch in Hurrican Mills, Tn.
. The Amateur MX GLMX Michigan State Championship at REDBUD in Buchanan Mi.Hard work on and off the track, determination, and a little help from others, I know I can become a pro rider! My dream will become true!
Riding Goals
My goals for the 2014 Moto Cross Season is to be able to qualify and race at Loretta Lynn's.
Having a successful year at the Pro Ams with my coach.
To be a role model for younger riders to look up to and prove to be positive and supportive on and off the track.
To make my parents and family proud for my actions on and off the race track.
I will continue to practice and improve my riding skills to the best of my ability on and off the track.
I will represent G&S Racing Team and other great sponsors proudly, by maintaining a positive attitude and good sportsmanship with others on and off the race track like I have done in the past.
Competitive Highlights
Even though 2013 didn't end the way that I hoped, I know that 2014 is my year to shine!
When I set a goal, I try my hardest to make it come true, just like a PRO!
