Personal History
I love motorcycles! I got my first one in May of this year. My dad and I were just planning on trail riding until I went to my first track. It was this place that was never groomed, hard packed, mowed a couple of times a year, but it was close and $10 per bike. They were open from day light to dark in the summer. We went to some other tracks this summer and I really liked the tracks better than the trails we had been on so far. I raced a couple of Saturday Nite races and got as good as a second in the 85 beginner. At a little tougher track in Burleson Texas I took a fourth overall.
I entered the fall '08 Blue Moon Series at Boondoxxx Racetrack in Farmersville, TX in the 85 beginner class. I broke a finger in the second round and my arm in the fifth. In the fifth round I went down in a corner and hit a hay bail in practice. We thought it was just sprained so we taped it up and I raced both motos. I wanted to stay in the points race for fifth so I took it easy on the jumps and finished both motos. On monday the ex-rays showed the damage and I have been down for six weeks. I didn't get to race the sixth round so I didnt place fifth. My next series starts December 7th.
Riding Goals
I want to race one more series on this beginner track and then in the spring step up to some tuffer competition and terrain. My dad and I are going to race some cross-country races and I hope we place well.
I would like to attend some training schools and learn more about technique in this sport.
Competitive Highlights
Basicly, I don't quit. I raced with a broken arm at 12 years old.
