Personal History
I have been trial riding since I was 2 years old, my first bike was a crf50, then I progressed fast enough to move up to a clutches klx110, I loved that bike but it didn’t have enough power to my liking so I moved up to a KTM 50sx and a KTM 65sx and I rode the 65 and worked on the 50 but then on one of our West Virginia two day rides I blew the top end because I did not understand shifting well enough. After the 65 I got my first brand new motorcycle, a 2019 klx110L and I loved that thing so much but the bike was to heavy and didn’t have enough power and I wanted to race. We sold the klx and decided that we would find an 85, and we wanted to find a KTM but had no luck finding one, at the time there were three in the nation available so we found a kx 85 and started training for hare scrambles. My first hare scramble went ok I did about fifty fifty beating half the kids and loosing to the other. We had a lot of over heating problems with that bike because it only had one radiator as all kx’s do. I blew up and put together my very first cylinder and head. Earlier this year, I had more problems with it including loosing gas, not having any low end power and now the wheels were starting to get to small for me so we decided to get a 2021 sx85 and have had little problems with performance of the machine, we have only had clutch problems from the previous owner, the clutch cover is leaking oil, the slave cylinder cracked and the clutch slipping. But I have been progressing faster and faster with these problems.
Riding Goals
My goal is to get enough sponsorships to be able to cut costs in half so I would be able to train hard enough to win the series of OXCR and WEXCR next year before I have to advance up to the adult classes and leave minis in the past.
Competitive Highlights
I have been able to make clean passes and have whipped over a kid, burnt a kid on a corner and blew passed a kid going down a ditch and jumping out.
