Personal History
I started racing in 2021 when the season started back up after COVID. It was always a dream of mine to race and I have always been passionate about it. I was never able to do it since I had my daughter when I was 17 and was working/ going to school full time until I was 24 (I currently have 2 degrees (associate and bachelors) both businesses related, and I work a career in finance). When COVID hit, I started working from home and it opened doors in my life allowing me to finally chase my dream and passion, dirt bike racing. 2021 I did a race here and there to get my feet wet. 2022 was my first full season racing and I promoted to B, ½ way through the season. 2023 Was my first full racing season in amateur. Naturally I had bike issues and bronchitis for much of the season (results suffered) but still raced the majority of the races and practiced as much as I could. Much like having my daughter at 17, this type of difficulty only drives me to try harder. My wife and I purchased a camper in early 2023 and committed to following the majority of the NETRA race season (both enduro and harescramble) for 2023 which we accomplished.
Riding Goals
2024 I plan to do every race in NETRA (both series) and plan to get a double championship for enduro/hs as well as promote to A. My longer-term goals are to receive my pro card and start to follow national enduros as well as GNCC. I have always been told I could not do things and would never be successful so I understand peoples doubts but as forementioned that only fuels me to push harder. Motorcycles are my #1 passion and the support from my sponsors is what allows me to keep chasing and achieving my goals.
Competitive Highlights
Promoted from Novice to amature in my first full year of racing. Won 1 enduro and placed 3rd in a harescramble in 2023 even though was sick for the majority of the season. Won the amateur enduro class and promoted to A in 2024.
