Personal History

A brief history...

I started racing with my family at around age 9.  We sold our 1967 fastback mustang to buy our bikes.  So from then on my number has always been 67.  Riding that XR100 was a blast.  I thought it was the fastest thing in the world.  We rode every weekend.  I did one race on it then moved up to a KX80.  My biggest competition was my mom..haha.  Then I met some neighborhood friends that rode, he had a kx80 also. our families would ride together and race together (my mom always beat his dad) haha! My friend got really into it and hired a trainer to help him go faster.  He eventually crashed really bad and no longer rides. But those days of us riding togther will forever be in my memories.  After racing a few times I started getting better and moving up bikes. YZ125, YZF250, CRF450, then my current bike which is again a CRF450.  Both my parents still ride and race.  If it wasnt for them I wouldnt be where I am now, so shout out to the FOLKS! Thanks! Anyway, I want to go far into this sport and do as well as I can. So dedication and focus will be on my mind fro the next......however long it takes until im satisfied!

Riding Goals

My goals for this next season is to do well in the AMP/GFI and CMC series around california.  I want to get into racing arenacross possibly and eventually try to qualify for Loretta Lynns.  Thats a long shot right now though, so short term goals are AMP series, and working my way up through the intermediate class.  With the help of sponsors and my family I know I can achieve this!

Competitive Highlights

I think my favorite competitive highlights arent the ones that I do well in.  Sure I have some over all wins in a tough field, or some high placing national finishes, but I think my favorite highlight that sticks out the most is a race that I did on my 80cc.  It was an off road race and the track was 11 miles long.  It was muddy and slick and the 80 powerband was like a light switch.  So every small hill that was slopped with mud my bike would pitch sideways and I would fall.  I kept getting up, over and over, and after the 2 hour race was finished, I came in happy thiat I finished that gnarly race.

Another one that sticks out is my first motocross race on a full sized bike.  I didnt do too bad either. I ended up taking 4th.  But how nervous I was all day.  I even pulled a wholeshot then stalled it in the first corner due to nerves. But I ened up coming back and doing okay.

The off road races on my YZf250.  The place had a HUGE and I mean steep loose down hill.  Bikes were layed out everywhere down it. Theres no stopping.  Every lap I would come around and have to go down this thing..keeping in mind I was 12 racing against grown men.  I had to weave through these bikes and riders that were down on the hill, but evertime I made it!
