Personal History
I am 32 yrs old and I have been riding for 15 yrs on trail riding.I have had lots of fun this last race season so far and hope to have a better race season next year.I am one of the 2 stroke diehards. I own and ride a 07 YZ 250 that has almost all the bells and whistles. thanks to all of my sponsors, my bike is performing well and looking better than ever because of there top of the line products.
I live in northern nevada in a small town, and hit the trails just about once a week. I have a beautiful wife and two awesome kids that i spend all of my time with when im am not at work or on the trail, my daughter- 3 is always eager to come help dad work on his bike and my son who is 7 is learning to ride on a yamaha PW50. i work as a caterpillar, pit viper, and hitichi mechanic in the mining industry for a company called Newmont gold corp, which is one of the leading gold mining companys around the world. I'm a mechanic by trade so I do all my own service and repairs on my bike. Just recently I bought a 7x14 enclosed race trailer for all my travels to the upcoming races. We have named our team " Just Ride Motorsports " . I try to encourage other families in my town to get into desert riding through my Facebook group " just ride winnemucca"..
Riding Goals
I love to ride and try to get out at least once a week.I always find I challenge myself everytime I'm out Riding. I always offer to take other riders in my area to teach them what I have learned over the years. I hope to one day open dirt bike classes and teach more people to get involved in the sport. I have decided to take it to the next level and try desert racing. I'm apart of mrann (mototcycle racing of northern nevada) and going to continue racing hopfully for a long time..I enjoy what I love. Wish me luck
I have taken my riding knolwage to the next level and have started teaching my almost 4 year old daughter how to ride the PW50, now that my son has out grown it and will be getting a kx65 for christmas, we have decided to put all new black plastics and pink graphics on the bike for her. Both kids are getting riding gear this year as well.. i have also started teaching my two nephews how to ride.. i really enjoy watching them learn and riding around.. im hoping to get them involved with the 2015 mrann races next season in the pee wee division, but one step at a time.
Competitive Highlights
This race season has been a lot of fun, im currently holding 3rd place in my class and hope to keep it with only one race left in the season. i look forward to the 2015 season and hope to bring up my points and place by the end of the year.
Out of all my races, i would have to say the virginia city grand prix was my funnest race, lots of riddersand spectators. I took 35th out of 43 in my class and 193 out of 361 over all..
