Personal History
My name is Travis Kersey I'm 36 years old. I grew up racing motocross in the North Texas area. I got out of the sport at 17 years old after someone stole my dirt bike. I spent 17 years away from the sport. Biggest mistake of my life! On a good note I've been back for a few years now. I currently own a 2022 Honda Crf450R. I've been participating not only in local races, but also AMA races in the last 2 years. I run the 30+ amateur class. I'm married and have a beautiful 7 year old daughter who also has now taken up the joy of racing!! We are a dedicated moto family and wouldn't change it for the world. Im here at Mx sponsors because i spend so so much money on parts and gear daily. Im hoping to get some relief in some areas and help represent for some of this awesome companies in the moto industry! Hoping to reach a few companies as we continue to get this Honda on the box!!
Riding Goals
My goals at the age of 36 are to to elevate from the 30+ amateur class and get to A class with selective training, workouts, and diet. I want to be one of the best in the vet class and hopefully one day make a late run for Loretta's. I'm already a top contender in the 30+ amateur and look to train harder and learn more and make up for all the lost years! I'm hungry for success and i'm willing to do whatever it takes to get to the top! I may be getting older but i work hard in this sport to learn. I fee like i have so much left in the tank. I work hard for my money and will continue to put money into this investment for myself. Just hoping to get picked up by a few companies to lighten the load on expense and actually have some people to than on that box!!
Competitive Highlights
I've been top 3 in all my 30+ amateur classes as of lately. Im currently sitting 1st place overall in the Texas alliance District 41 series. 2 rounds left until the state championship!! we are in such a great spot to win it all!! this will be my first ever championship race! I've hit so many local races in the last couple of years. All to prepare myself for these AMA races! i would absolutely love to have some companies to represent on that box come November 1st. We will also be running A8 the moto playground series this winter! Lots of great racing coming up and im after championships!!
