in august we competed in the longest off road race in america on a trx700xx in the open pro atv class, we started last off line and began our journey from the start line outside of vegas to the finish in reno. everything was going well for my partner jeremy gray and i for the first 100 miles until we lost a wheel bearing, but we had fixed and on the course agin with only losing 10 minutes to the leader. after my first section of 100 miles i was able to bring the quad in to pit 4 in the lead passing my competiors, from there jeremy and i continued ripping up the nevada desert in the lead buy about 5 minutes for 500 straight miles, with only one pit to go we awaited for the quad to come in and seal the deal and win vegas to reno, only to find that electrical problems would hold us back from even finishing leaving me out stranded in the nevada desert for hours. our luck ran out and it just was not our day to win this race even after leading with only 50 miles to go..
