Nov 7 2009

Well it's been a while since I've posted on here but  now the 2009 racing season is over in New England and it's time to get ready for cold weather. But let me sum up my 09' season. This season was definetly my best season ever. At the beginning of the season I said I wanted to just top 5 the first race but i exceeded that goal with a 2nd. And for the rest of the season I knew i had it. The work I put in was showing and it showed all season as I never finished out of the top 5 in the B class and won the 2009 NESC 125B championship. Then after I had the championship I did a few more B races and did my last B race in the beginning of August where I won all for of my motos pretty easily and it was the persect way to conclude my B class career. For the last Central I moved up to the A class. And I learned alot! I have good speed but the 25 minute motos are tough and I learned I need to work ALOT harder. But  thats what im going to do. Work, work, work. I'm gonna train really hard this winter and try changing some things up as well as making the switch to Honda for the 2010 season. In 2010 I'm planning on the doing the whole spring series and races that will help me get my pro points. Then my goal is to make my pro debut probably in 2012. Well thats alot this time but I'll keep updating this if anything comes up.

May 3 2009

This weekend was the final visit to mx338 for the NESC spring series and it was awesome. In the first moto I got a good start and had putmyself into second. Then a few laps later I took the lead and led for a few laps but then i got passed with just a couple laps to go and finished second. In the second moto I got an ok start but outside the top 5. But i was methodically working my way through the field when i found myself right behind the leader on the last lap. Then in the last corner i was able to take the inside and pass him for my first win in the 125B class. This race was huge for me and the rest of the season. In the youth class I got the holeshot in the first moto only to fall and lose the lead. But I was able to get back up and retake the lead for the win. The in the second moto I completely dominated.

This weekend  NESC headed up to maine for the first time of the season to go to MX207. I had never been here before but all i can say was that track is sick! It's so fun. And I had a good day. In the first 125 B moto i got a bad start and then crashed early on but still came back to get a 6th. Then in the second moto I got a good start and ended up with a 3rd giving me 4th overall and further extending  my points lead. In the youth class I won both motos pretty convincingly and now have a comfortable lead in that class

Apr 13 2009

This weekend was the first round of the season at the legendary sand track known at moto-x 338 in southwick mass. It was freezing outside with the temperature not even getting out of the 30's. But I had an ok day. In the 125 B class I got decent starts and went 5-4 for third overall and the points lead. In the youth class Moto1 I creashed on the start and then again coming throught the field but still salvaged a 9th. Then in the second moto I got 4 and the 9-4 gave me 5th overall

Apr 5 2009

Sunday April 5, 2009  was the start to the NESC championship and my quest for the 125 B and 125 youth B championships. In the first moto got a pretty poor start  but worked my way all the way to 3rd. My best finish in the 125B class ever. Then in the second moto i got a better start and went on to get another 3rd. The 3-3 finishes gave me a 2nd overall. in the youth class moto 1 I got the holeshot and went on to win it pretty easily. The second moto was cancelled which gave me the overall and the points lead.

Nov 18 2008

Well its that time of year where, here in connecticut, it starts to get cold. Too cold to ride outside. And with Mototown possibly closing and not being what it used to be, it made me have to think of other ways toriding time in this winter. I dont think that going down south for a week is in the budget, so I am planning doing some arenacross. Some of the race i expect to be going to are in PA, MD, KT, OH and NC. I don't expect to go to all 6 of the races in those states but definetly a few of them. It's for me to keep the racing mind on and racing against guys from outside of new england. I know theres some fast guys in those states but i expect to do pretty good. I liove arenacross and I'm ready. The after that, Starting in April, is the NESC spring series. I am planning to compete in that whole series ad I plan to win the championship. So hopefully, those plans will fall into place and I'll be riding better than ever in 2009!

Oct 12 2008

This weekend was southwick and it was my first race back from injuring my shoulder. In the first 125 B moto I got about a 15th place start and ended up with which is what i was looking for, top 5's. In the first open moto i rode good and ended up 7th. Then in the second 125 B moto I got about the same start and ended up ninth. Not what i was wanting. The 5-9 scores have me 7th overall. Then in the second Open moto i got another seventh and with a 7-7 i got sixth overall. I was really hoping to get in the top so at the nest southwick(and the last one for the year) That what I really want. But I was consistant and i was happy with that. But I just needed a little more.

Oct 7 2008

This weekend is Southwick and it's gonna be my first race back from hurting my shoulder. Even though its my first race back i am hoping to finish inside the top 5. I feel great on the bike and I just cant wait. I'm hoping it's going to be a great weekend.

Sep 26 2008

Just when i was getting super pumped for Central it gets cancelled. Rain expected to be over 5 inches has forced NESC to cancel the race. I'm super bummud because I've never been wanting to race so bad. But it looks like I'll have to wait until October 12 to make my comeback race at Southwick.

Sep 24 2008

This year has been a great year and a horrible year. I got hurt just before the first race on a stupid trampoline. Then I get first and second at my first race back and get my first win on a big bike of my career. Then I get a 6th and a fourth at my first NESC race of the year in what i think is the best I have ever ridden. Then I do pretty good at Southwick and I am feeling great going into the next central. After practice I am feeling wicked on the bike and start the first moto battling in the top ten. But then I tip over and bruise my shoulder. But now here we are with the last central of the season coming up. Since coming back from being hurt i have felt so comfartable on the bike. I feel really fast and I feel I can go 15+2 as fast as I can go. So going to Central I'm gunning for a top 5 for sure but i honestly believe I can win. So we'll see. Hopefully the year will end on a very high note.

Sep 5 2008

On Sunday I rode for the first time since Central Village ,August 3rd. I rode At Ct motocross in rocky hill and rode pretty good hopefully I can race the the last Central of the season On the 28th.

Aug 14 2008

At Central 8/3 I reinjured my shoulder in the first moto while battling inside the top 10. I was trying to this kid around the outside and just lost the front end and somehow bruised my shoulder. I didnt even fall on my shoulder that i hurt so it really sucks. i felt super quick. but i'll be back riding in a month. And i want to come back win another race so bad, I'm really motivated to win a race and i no that i can

Jul 30 2008

This Sunday is Central Village for round 2 of the NESC Fall Series. Last time at Central I did really good but this time I want to do even better. I really think I can win it if I get good starts. I just can not stress eneough how bad I need a good start. I don't know why I can't get good starts but I'm gonna keep working at it and never give up and I'll get it eventually. But I'm so ready for central. I rode at Billy Ainsworths house with Mike Pugrab yesterday I'm more ready than ever. So I'm just gonna get ready and get fired up for sunday.

Jul 14 2008

This past weekend at southwick I was ready to put in some more solid rides in the 125B and OpenB. This weekend for the 125B class NESC had transponders. Which was cool because I could see how my times were in practice like at the pro races. There were 47 guys in my class and in practice I was 5th fastest with a 2:11 laptime, which is pretty good I think. But when the gate dropped for the 1st 125 moto I got a bad jump off the gate and was caught up in a pile up. So I charged hard and worked my way to 15th spot from 44th. So I was happy about that. But thats not what I wanted. In the first Open moto which was pretty much right after my 125 moto I actually got a good start and Ended up with 6th so that was good. Then in the 2nd 125 moto I got a worse than half pack start but ended up getting up to 7th and had 5th and 6th right in front of me. The 15-7 scores gave me 8th overall. In the second Open I got a pretty bad start but still got up to 10th. With a 6-10 score i got another 8th overall. Although I wanted more top 5's in the first moto I lost my front brake and didnt have it for the rest of the 3 motos so I guess two 8ths aint to bad.

Jul 6 2008

This upcoming Sunday I will be racing at mx338 in Southwick Mass. for my 3rd race of the year. 3 races by mid July isn't exactly what I had planned on, but at least my results have been good. For Southwick I want another top 5 in both classes this time and just get better and better starts. Since Southwick isn't my best track, starts would be helpful. I just am gonna go out there and give it my all and hopefully i will come out with more good finishes.

Jun 23 2008

Sunday June 22 marked the 2nd race for me this season. It was a NESC round at Central Village and it was a great day of racing for me. Although right before the start of my first 125 B moto it started dumping rain and even lightning and thundering and continued to pour throughout my moto, I got a solid start inside the top ten and rode smart to finish 8th place. The track was so gnarly but I still felt good but it was the longest 15+2 moto ever. Then in the open I got a horrible start, 18th to be exact, and fought up to 7th in the still sloppy conditions. But by the second motos the track was all dried up and was is excellent condition and in the second moto I rode the best I maybe ever ridden. I got a fifth place start and rode a solid pace to finish 4th 20 minutes later. And the 8-4 scores were good for 4th overall. Then in the second open moto i got another horrible start but again worked my way to the top ten, finishing 8th. And the 7-8 score were good for 6th overall. So it was a great day of racing and I'm pretty happy with the end result.

Jun 16 2008

This Weekend (Sunday June 22, 2008) is NESC at Central Village. This will be my second race this year coming back from my shoulder injury and so far so good after winchester. I really like Central so I'm expecting a top 5 finish.

Jun 2 2008

This weekend was a great weekend for me at Winchester New Hampshire on the supercross track. In the first moto of the Open B Class I got a bad start but worked back up to 3rd by the end. In the second Moto I got another bad start and by the end of the first lap was in 7th. By the end of the rae I was just behind the leader in 2nd. In the 250f Class in the first moto i got a 3rd place start but faded back to 4th by the end. But in the second Moto I got the hloeshot and ran away with the rest of the race take my first win of the year, in my first attempt. I just want to thank all my sponsers Chaplin kawasaki, sunline 661 scott and everyone else
