Personal History
My name is Travis Conley and I am a Project Engineer for a commercial construction company in Northern California. I grew up racing motocross and wakeboarding. I stopped racing and went to CSU Chico to get my degree in Construction Management. Now with a career started I am able to pursue motocross again.
Riding Goals
I am looking to start racing locally in the +25 class and possibly the 450 Novice class again. I am hoping hoping to pick up in the novice level where I left off as a teenager and at least move up to the Intermediate level now that I have a much better training routine and respect for the sport. My goal is to be able to travel to the popular Northern California series and possibly make some races down outside of the local sanctions.
It has always been a dream of mine to qualify for Loretta Lynn's. This may not be a realistic goal at this point in my life/career, however this is something that I would like to pursue as I get older.
Overall my main focus is to stay healthy and be a stronger rider on and off the track. Fitness is a big part of my life and to be able to show it on the motocross track is the top priority.
Competitive Highlights
I raced throughout high school and became successful in the Novice class on both a 125/250 and 250/450. My family was able to support me racing throughout Northern California where I was able to win many Novice class races and overall series. I feel my highlight in racing this class came in 2005 at the Mammoth Motocross race where I was able to finish 8th in the 450 C class. With my goal to go to college I was only able to compete in a couple Intermediate races.
